WYGALATOR is a mood-pop trio of musicians transplanted from NYC to the Hudson Valley. Janet Wygal is best known for penning the theme song for the MTV animated series Daria, which she recorded with her band Splendora. Splendora’s album In the Grass has become a sleeper classic due to interest enerated by the Daria series. Tedd Prudhomme is a painter and songwriter who has played solo with his own band and with New York Cit outfits such as Wall Drug and Ballo. Heige Kim is a visual artist who was recruited by Wygalator to play bass and sing with the group when Janet and Tedd heard her vocalizing in the car on a long trip to Montreal.
